Discovered by a large audience in 1992 thanks to his film Latcho Drom , director Tony Gatlif is the high priest of the Gypsy, Rom and Tzigane communities whose wonderful contributions to music have been featured in all his films. Gatlif acted as musical-director for this soundtrack produced by Delphine Mantoulet and Valentin Dahmani, which translates both the blazing passions and the violent altercations between France s Turkish and Spanish communities.
