Résumé
Oliver, a successful British philosopher spends the summer with his ex-wife, Constance and her new husband, while he writes his autobiography. He hides the pages of his book but she inserts her own comments. Thus we have Oliver's life story as told by Oliver, reinterpreted by Constance.
