Michael Baumgardt is one of Germany's most respected authors on Web design and desktop publishing. One of the first European designers to adopt desktop publishing more than a decade ago, he made the leap into designing for the Internet in 1996. His books on design are consistent bestsellers. He splits his time between New York and Berlin.
