Biographie de l'auteur
Puerto Rican and Midwestern by heritage, Sandra Benítez spent her youth in Mexico, El Salvador and Missouri. She has a degree in Education and an MA in Comparative Literature, and was a businesswoman before starting to write full time. Her first novel, A Place Where the Sea Remembers, was published in 1995. Her short stories have been published in magazines and anthlogies and she has received several awards for her writing. Married with two sons, she now lives in Minnesota.
