Présentation de l'éditeur The founders of tank started a magazine for the reason all great magazines begin : because the one they wanted to read didn't yet exist. Tank came into being, and continues to thrive, as a home for imagery from the worlds of fashion, architecture, art, photojournalism and design and for words that probe the limits of conventional magazine content. It's gloriously glossy, but also proudly reflective : tank refuses PR-led content, avoids the celebrity bandwagon and gives over its pages to new ideas and experiments. Many back issues are scarce ; much of its acclaimed content has never been seen elsewhere. This second collection from its pages, covering four years of striking work, is a permanent record of its capacity to invent and surprise. Biographie de l'auteur Iranian-born Masoud Golsorkhi studied photography at the University of Westminster in London before working as a fashion photographer for such publications as Interview, Jalouse, Numero and Harpers & Queen. German-born Andreas Laeufer worked as an art director for advertising agencies in Germany and Switzerland before becoming a freelance art director for such fashion companies as Hugo Boss and Joop!. After moving to London he met Masoud, and they launched Tank magazine in 1998.
