Présentation de l'éditeur
Using over 150 eyewitness documents, this anthology reconstructs Ancient Egyptian history from the unification of the kingdoms in c.3150BC to the conquest by Rome in 30BC. But more than this, The Mammoth Book of How it Happened - Ancient Egypt paints an unforgettably vivid picture of the way of life of the Ancient Egyptians, from their love affairs to peasant toil, from marriage contracts to trials for tomb-robbery, from the building of the pyramids to mummification processes and the myth of Osiris to spells for the Afterlife.
