So praise be indeed for the break in the clouds that is the new Jackie Collins bonkbuster. The queen of raunch returns with plenty of her trademark sex, scandal, sex, can and, um… some more sex. It follow the lives and loves of three of Hollywood’s most powerful couples, and while the characters are, of course, fictitious, we can’t help thinking some of them are more than a little inspired by the real deal. At the centre of the scandal is the amazingly named Cameron Paradise – a gorgeous fitness trainer who keeps the A-list at their peak in more ways than one. Naturally, behind all the bed-hopping there’s something sinister, and you just know the subplot of the teenage Russian prostitute is going to bite someone on the ass. It’s a mood elevator comparable to anything her characters indulge in.’
