The current conflict in Ukraine has spawned the most serious crisis between Russia and the West since the end of the Cold War. Rajan Menon is Spitzer Professor of Political Science at the City College of New York/City University of New York and the author of The End of Alliances. His work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Boston Globe, Washington Post, and the Huffington Post, and other publications. Eugene Rumer is a Senior Associate and Director of the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
