Présentation de l'éditeur
In Boys Don't Cry, bestselling author Malorie Blackman explores the unchartered territory of teenage fatherhood.
You're waiting for the postman - he's bringing your A level results. University, a career as a journalist - a glittering future lies ahead. But when the doorbell rings it's your old girlfriend; and she's carrying a baby. You're fine to look after it, for an hour or two, while she does some shopping. Then she doesn't come back and your future suddenly looks very different.
Malorie's dramatic new novel will take you on a journey from tears to laughter and back again.
Revue de presse
This book is one you won't want to miss...Author Malorie Blackman takes the usual teen parenthood story and turns it upside-down. Readers will be quickly drawn into Dante's experiences and will feel every moment of fear, regret, and exhilaration as he deals with all life has thrown his way. There are fabulous moments of joy, flashes of anger, and terrible tragedies as this odd family struggles to hold it all together. (

There is no one word that can describe just how good of a read Boys Don't Cry is. This book is one of the few that should be read by every teenage boy in the world - it's packed with life's lessons...Boys Don't Cry is an eye-opener, a complex novel that is one of the few which effectively thrusts the reader into issues that matter most in the big world. It made me cry, it made me think and it made me want to read so much more. I love this!

Blackman doesn't just cover teenage pregnancy, in this title we're involved with a family that is grieving, suffering from a lack of communication and dealing with severe prejudices. An astounding piece of fiction that is full of truths that teens will relate to. (
