Jenny Rayner is an independent UK-based consultant. In 1999Jenny founded Abbey Consulting to provide consultancy and trainingon the positive management of risk to improve performance andprotect and enhance reputation. Her previous corporate careerspanned over 20 years in a wide range of sales, marketing, purchasing, logistics, supply chain and general business managementroles, latterly as a Chief Internal Auditor with ICI.
Jenny writes and lectures extensively on risk management, corporategovernance, corporate social responsibility and reputation. She isexecutive editor of the
Business Risk Management Handbookand joint executive editor of the
Corporate SocialResponsibility Monitor. Her study,
Risky Business: towardsbest practice in managing reputation risk, was published by theInstitute of Business Ethics in 2001. Jenny lives in Cheshire withher husband Keith and daughters Jo and Dani.
