Naked Thoughts That Roam About: On Theatre, Film, Television and the World

The late John McGrath spent his life campaigning for a popular theatre that was politically engaged. His campaign most famously took the form of his founding 7:84, a theatre company named after the statistic that announced 7% percent of the Great Britain's population owns 84% of the nation's wealth. Naked Thoughts That Roam About is a selection of his writing on theatre spanning a 40-year period, from his undergraduate days to "Theatre and Democracy," written in 1999.
