Most of these portraits have never been published before. They were taken mainly at Paris Fashion Week events, at an hour when masks tend to slip. To me, they compose a sort of Fellini-esque mosaic of designers and muses, celebrities and unknowns, the eccentric and the elegant. Considering how images are now distributed and consumed, I wanted to publish these photographs on paper to allow them greater depth - and maybe even a theatrical dimension - in addition to their overall good humor. I would also especially like to thank all those who were willing to just be themselves.
