Résumé

Most of these portraits have never been published before. They were taken mainly at Paris Fashion Week events, at an hour when masks tend to slip. To me, they compose a sort of Fellini-esque mosaic of designers and muses, celebrities and unknowns, the eccentric and the elegant. Considering how images are now distributed and consumed, I wanted to publish these photographs on paper to allow them greater depth - and maybe even a theatrical dimension - in addition to their overall good humor. I would also especially like to thank all those who were willing to just be themselves. Paris-based photographer and filmmaker François Goizé contributes regularly to magazines and websites including Vanity Fair France, WWD, Vogue.fr, Vogue.com and GQ (US), among others
