Perpignan 2010
Après le succès des deux dernières éditions, les éditions Snoeck réitèrent la publication du catalogue officiel du plus grand Festival International du Photojournalisme Visa pour l'Image - Perpignan.
Depuis sa première édition en 1989, le Festival nous rappelle que, pour une information visuelle juste, le regard du photojournaliste est indispensable. Rendez-vous exceptionnel des amoureux de la photographie et du reportage, le Festival réunit des milliers de visiteurs chaque année à Perpignan. Pour sa 22e édition, nous choisissons de faire un dossier sur le photojournalisme d'aujourd'hui : un état des lieux sur l'évolution de la profession, l'arrivée du numérique, avec le témoignage de Jean-François Leroy, directeur du Festival, et de grands photojournalistes. Cette partie est illustrée d'une sélection de photographies des reporters interviewés.
Nous présentons également toutes les expositions de l'édition 2010 avec, pour tous les photographes, six pages consacrées à chacun de leur reportage.

After the success of the first two catalogues, the publishing house Snoeck will be producing another official catalogue of Visa pour l'Image - Perpignan, the leading international festival of photojournalism.
Ever since the first festival in 1989, « Visa » has been showing us and reminding us that reliable visual news and information must be backed by views provided by photojournalists. The Festival is an outstanding event for everyone inter-ested in photography and reporting, and every year it attracts thousands of visitors to the city of Perpignan in the south of France.
For the 22nd festival, the catalogue includes a report on the state of photojournalism today, reviewing the professional situation and developments with the advent of digital photography ; contributions are from leading photojournalists and from Jean-François Leroy, director of the Festival. The interviews with the photojournalists are illustrated with a selection of their shots.
The catalogue presents ail the exhibitions in the 2010 festival, covering each photographer, and with six pages on each of the reports exhibited.
