Des manuscrits reproduits vis-à-vis de certains dessins, traduisent l’obsession d’un amateur fasciné par la transformation d’un jeune homme en fille. Corseté, botté, flagellé par des maîtresses-femmes, le jeune Gidrian se soumet à tous les sévices d’une éducation bien loin d’être sentimentale. Fétichisme, ambiguïté androgyne et femmes dominatrices sont une source d’inspiration de certains grands couturiers. Lier, attacher, nouer et dénouer, cravacher, tel est « FÉMINISÉ ». GENRE, FETISH, SM This drawing is from my new book on the subject of a boy who was to become a girl. With all the proper costumes and accoutrements: corsets, boots and high-heeled shoes, and a whip, should he fail to obey. The numerous drawings in the book are in gouache or pen and ink, and appearing alongside the drawings are texts which tell this particular story of the 1930s. Although it seems that publication was intended, it never in fact happened. The sadomasochistic scenes we see represented are highly sophisticated, and typical of the era, when freedom of expression was quite unconstrained.
